Principle and application field of the precision filter in the petrochemical industry

Wedge wire precision filter, also known as filter element type filter and security filter, is composed of two parts: filter and wedge net filter element, which can be single-core or multi-core. The specific filter element material and specification are selected according to the actual situation of customers; the production process can be mirror polishing or surface sandblasting.
The filter with different materials and different precision can effectively remove all kinds of small impurities based on the diameter of the filter.

Principle and structure of precision filter in the petrochemical industry

 

The filtering principle of the precision filter is that the liquid to be filtered is pressed in from the inlet of the filter, filtered into a clear liquid through the filter layer from the outside to the inside through the wedge wire filter element, and then discharged through the outlet.

The security filter adopts the shaped filter material. Under the action of pressure, the original liquid passes through the filter material, the filter residue remains on the pipe wall, and the filtrate flows out through the filter material, so as to achieve the purpose of filtration.

Structure: filter cloth, filter screen, filter piece, sintered filter tube, wedge wire filter element, melt blown filter element, etc. Due to different filter materials, the filtration pore size is also different.

Wedge wire filter precision filtration is a kind of filtration between sand filtration (coarse filtration) and ultrafiltration. The filtration aperture is generally in the range of 15-120 μM.

Components of the precision filter in the petrochemical industry

The filter is mainly composed of a filter shell and wedge wire filter elements. The filter shell is mostly made of 304 stainless steel. If it is used on special occasions such as acid and alkali resistance, r316 stainless steel can be used as the shell. It can be divided into flange type and clamp type, and flange type shell is mainly used on the occasion of large filtration flow.
