  1. Opening area
    Most important technical parameters, the high opening area ensures the working efficiency of the equipment, and the flow can be increased by increasing the opening area.
    The high opening area, not easy to block, and easy to clean is the reason why we choose the material of the wedge wire screen.
    Calculation formula of the opening area:
    Open area = gap size / (gap size + width of the wedge wire)
    Matters needing attention:
    The strength of the product is also important. Do not use too small wedge wire because of the pursuit of opening area, This will not only cause welding problems but also affect normal use.

  2. Welding problem
    Welding is the biggest problem affecting the service life of the rotary wedge wire screen.
    Welding problems often occur between the flange(splash ring) and the running ring, rough manufacturing processes leave protruding welds when the roller screen rotates, normal operation is affected, and problems may occur in the welding area within 6 months.

  3. The roundness of the running ring
    High roundness is the most basic technical requirement of a rotary drum screen.
    When the drum screen rotates clockwise, the running ring is not smooth and the roundness is not high, which will lead to the shaking of the roller screen, this is the main cause of the problems in the welding joint.
    The roundness problem often occurs in the rotary wedge wire screen with a diameter of more than 1.2m, in 2015, we introduced advanced production equipment, which can process drum screen with a diameter of more than 1.8 meters, perfectly solving this problem.
