Auger of solid-liquid separator for livestock manure
Auger blade is the main component of solid-liquid separator for livestock manure, which determines the efficiency of manure separator.
In recent years, with the deepening of market economy reform, the livestock and poultry breeding industry have developed rapidly. However, with the prosperity of the market and the improvement of people’s living standards, there are also major environmental problems such as the arbitrary discharge of livestock manure and the pollution of industrial and domestic water.
The manure separator of livestock manure is a new type of mechanical equipment developed in recent years to prevent and control the pollution of livestock manure. It has the characteristics of compact structure, low energy consumption, simple operation, and high efficiency. It can realize the effect of solid-liquid separation and solid fertilizer dehydration conveniently and quickly.
The main structure of the livestock manure separator includes a feeding device, screw conveying device, motor components, discharging device, electric box, and frame. Among them, the screw conveyor is a manure separator, which is composed of an auger, a filter screen, and a box body. The core part of the auger is composed of an auger tube, and auger tube plug, an auger tube plug shaft, blades, and a connecting ring.
The working principle and process of the auger are as follows:
The motor and the reducer are connected by a connecting ring.
It drives the auger to rotate and drives the spiral blade to generate normal thrust.
Push the feed port to pump human manure.
The animal manure moved along the axis of the auger under the normal thrust of the blade.
The data conclusion calculated above is only the theoretical value. In reality, we need to make corresponding adjustments and improvements according to the problems found in the actual use. Especially, the front end of the spiral blade is worn. Until the outside diameter of the blade is just in a disordered state, the blade will not be ground more seriously at the beginning of transportation, and the blade will not be in a disordered state. In view of this problem, some adjustments and improvements have been made on the basis of the original design of the spiral blade. The details are as follows.
The thickness of the blade increases the thickness of the feed end from 4 mm to 6 mm, which increases the service life of the structure.
Because there are a lot of undigested fibers in the livestock manure water, in order to ensure the smooth operation of the auger, the blade is changed into two parts based on the original design, the large blade part is in the box which is easy to wear and close to the feed port, and the small blade part is in the relatively wear-resistant back-end wedge wire filter screen.
To sum up, in the design of the auger blade, comprehensive comparison and consideration should be made according to the material shape, connection form, blade thickness, spiral diameter, and blade pitch. In addition, in actual use, corresponding adjustments and improvements should be made according to the characteristics of the blade easy to wear. Only in this way can the best performance of a solid-liquid separator be exerted.
